For the past four years we've sponsored the IB Art Walk and Silent Auction. During this 2-day event (scheduled for Sept.
8 & 9, 2007) artists gather to create art pieces which are auctioned on the second day of the Art Walk.
These artists are selected amongst the high number of applications we receive.
Your support ensures art programs for children in our communities do not go unfunded.

September 8th and 9th, three local artists will
be honored at the 5th annual Imperial Beach Art Walk. "These three artists stand for everything good in the art community,"
stated Howard Woodward, director of this year's art walk. Chuck Giles, Marjorie Groshong and James Lynn are always ready to
help those who want to learn more about art. They have been there for, "The Art Kids," when asked to support the kids events
and have always had word of encouragement and praise. All three artists have been the local foundation for the art community
and their expertise with pencil or brush explain why they are to be honored.
Anyone wishing to attend the art walk will be able to view all three artists' work as they will be on display
during the art walk. In conjunction with the walk these three will be participating in Saturday's
painting and Sunday's Silent Auction. The event is free to those who wish to watch as local artists will be painting their
canvases for the Silent auction on Sunday.
